Short Bio

My name is Amin Alam (MohammadAmin Alamalhoda), and I have studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Sharif University of Technology (SUT).

  • Currently, I am a senior engineer at Syntropic Medical
  • In addition to my role at Syntropic, I’m a collaborator of SiegertLab where I reseach on novel deep learning approcahes for microscopy cell segmentation
  • In the past, I was a data scientist at IST Asutria working on LFP and MUA signals processing and application of machine learning in biomedical singnals processing.
  • Back in Tehran/Iran, I had multiple roles in tech startups as a software engineer and developer
  • During my studies at sharif, I was research assistant at Sharif university of technology and IPM brain engineering institute researching on EEG and fMRI signals processing.

    • I was responsible for setup and maintenance of the company Red Hat Linux servers. I used Ansible for automated actions across all servers, MySQL as the database, and Docker for containerization.
